Today we saw an issue that we unfortunately see all too often, when a roofing system is neglected. This is a prime example of what happens when gutters are left clogged and water can’t drain properly!
This roof now has several large holes straight through it, severe damage inside, and both the roof and gutters need to be replaced.
On top of that, this roof was so old it didn’t meet current code requirements. If it had, there would have been an ice & water barrier installed on the eaves as a safeguard that helps prevent exactly this kind of damage.
